About YBFF
Lynnell Ible, BSC CSCS
I was always an active kid growing up; dancing, skiing, snowboarding, and orienteering. My eating habits not so great, it makes my stomach churns just thinking of the bad tasting food I used to eat. I can’t believe it didn’t catch up with me until University and boy did I get a shock.
20 lbs of fat in 2 months, a combination of poor food choices and alcohol. I was still active, I was playing university rugby but my lifestyle was so bad that my fitness actually got worse. It was depressing the only clothes I could wear had elastic waists.
My first check point came when during my nutrition course we had to keep a food log for 6 days. After 3 days I couldn’t believe what I was eating and started to make changes. It was a long process but I managed to drop some fat, build muscle and increase my fitness level.
That experience set me on my path to where I am today. I have been studying health and fitness since 1999. Over the years have fine tuned my knowledge and expertise through research and application to come up with a fitness program that works. A fitness program that fits into your life and aroudn your schedule.
My Philosophy is based on 4 principles
- TRUST your body
- FUEL your Body
- WORK your Body
- LOVE your Body
Following these principles for myself, today I have a better, healthier, happier body then I did when I was 17. (I still fit into my graduation dress)
